Father's Day in Bellefonte: A Weekend Checklist

Friday, June 15th

To-Do List:

Don’t let dad miss the first day of the 30th annual Bellefonte Cruise. Open Cruise lasts from 6:00–7:30pm, with the sock hop finishing up the night from 8:00-10:00pm. Visit to learn more.

Would dad rather sip than dance? Head to Big Spring Spirits for a drink and live music featuring Hops and Vines. They kick off at 6:00pm and plays ‘til 8:00pm.

Saturday, June 16th

To-Do List:

Round two of the Bellefonte Cruise: Let dad ogle at (or join in with) the flashy array of high performance and classic show cars or amp up the day by participating in the classic motorcycle poker run. Either way, he’s sure to be entertained! The event kicks off at 7:00am and runs all day.

Dad in the mood for something cool and historical? Take him to the Curtin Village Civil War Days. Each and every soldier you cross paths with as you walk along will be representing a Pennsylvanian who came before us. Stop back on Sunday, too, for more re-enactments and storytelling.

Sunday, June 17th

To-Do List:

Throw back dad to the days of being a kid and have him check out the Soap Box Derby from Noon - 5:00pm at Allegheny St. and Howard St.

Then finish the day with him at the Summer Craft Beverage Expo at Talleyrand Park from 3:00-7:00. Tickets are available here:
