From the historic tree-lined Linn and Curtin streets in Bellefonte Borough, to the gripping views of Bald Eagle Mountain from Benner Township and to the valley of Hublersburg’s Amish country, home-buyers can find their dream house in the perfect neighborhood.

The communities listed below are within the Bellefonte Area and Bald Eagle Area School Districts.

Throughout the Bellefonte Borough you can find a variety of Victorian architecture, charming houses, and close-by recreations. You’re within walking distance of the downtown historic district which provides access to stores & shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Scattered throughout the Borough are grand Victorian homes and buildings, which are staples of the uniqueness of Bellefonte. Not to mention the new waterfront development project that will live along Spring Creek. It doesn’t get any better than living in Bellefonte Borough.

Beautiful Benner Township is located between Downtown Bellefonte and State College making it one of the most convienent locations to live within the Bellefonte Area School District. Aside from it’s close proximity to both towns, Benner Township has everything from beautiful stretches of the fly-fishing water of Spring Creek, to breathtaking views of Bald Eagle Mountain and the vast farmlands that lay along the rolling valley below. Whether you’re looking for tree-lined property, a place with a view or newer communities like Grove Park, Willow Bend, Millgate and OpeQuon, Benner Township has just the home for you.

Known for the historic Hublersburg Inn, this 1830as town is in the Bellefonte Area School District and is home to the Marion-Walker Elementary School. You’ll find yourself dining close to home at the Inn and routinely spotting a Horse and Buggy pass by, as Hublersburg is home to several Amish communities and the Annual Hublersburg Amish Auction. With historic homes in town, on rolling fields of farmland or the hills of the mountainside, Hublersburg is the place for your very own, slow-paced slice of heaven.

Milesburg Borough is home to Spring Creek and Bald Eagle Creek access points where water lovers can be found fly-fishing, kayaking and canoeing. In the town of Milesburg, youall be able to find many historic buildings along with a variety of beautiful homes from many different eras. And nothing beats the small town charm of the annual Milesburg Museum and Historical Society Apple Harvest Festival and Car Show which happens every September. With close proximity to Route 220 and I-80, Milesburg makes traveling across state a breeze. Milesburg is within the Bald Eagle Area School District.

Situated right at the foot of Nittany Mountain, Pleasant Gap is easily accessbile to Bellefonte, Centre Hall, and State College. Home to Pleasant Gap Elementary School, and part of the Bellefonte Area School District, Pleasant Gap is an active and cozy community.

Nestled in the pleasant Nittany Valley, Zion is a quaint village right outside of Bellefonte and still is in the Bellefonte Area School District. A common direction given to travelers and a landmark to locals is, ‘The Y at Zion’ – where PA 550 and PA 64 merge.
